"I am deeply saddened to learn about the loss of Stephanie. She had a real passion for serving others. Upon returning home from the Journey for Hope trip in Jamaica in January 2009, she began collecting sneakers and sports equipment to send back to the island--this after meeting orphans there who played soccer without shoes or equipment. This was the type of young lady she was--one who sought out need and then, when she found it, tried to remedy it. We are so proud to have known her. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lin, Lenny, Nicholas, Mike and all of Stephanie's friends and loved ones during this difficult time." ~ Lynn University President Kevin M. Ross
Stephanie died in the line of service trying to help humanity and the world will miss having her… such an extraordinary life who died an extraordinary death, all part of a larger plan that we just have to trust.

I cried when I got the news that they had found Stephanie.
Amid the sorrow has got to be relief and gratitude for all of you.
The good Lord did not promise that we would never be free of heartache, just that He would be with us through it all. Those beautiful students are now in the arms of Jesus. They were acting as the hands and heart of the good Lord in wanting to help such a poor people in need and you know they went STRAIGHT to heaven.
Love & Hugs,
Ceil

I hope you all stay strong and know that your daughter was sweet and
kind and always willing to offer her hand to anyone in need. My older
brother Ryan was close with her and wishes you all the best as
does the rest of my family. If anything is needed our family is
willing to give a hand as your daughter would have done for us. The
grief is hard but her memories are what shine so bright. Stay strong
and know that you are never alone. With love and great care,
Tara

Dear Lenny, Lin, Mike & Nick -
Bud and I and the boys have been thinking of you all and were deeply saddened (yet relieved for you) to hear of Stephanie's recovery. We continue to keep you all in our hearts and prayers, and hope that the treasured memories of the beautiful daughter and sister that Stephanie was, will forever live in your hearts and give you the strength to live in her footsteps. When words seem to have little meaning, I hope that you can find comfort in knowing what a true angel Stephanie was, on earth and now in heaven. We feel blessed to have someone so special now looking down upon us with such loving and open arms.
Our Love & Prayers,
Margaret, Bud, Brandon, Ryan & Evan

To The Crispinelli Family,
I watched Stephanie grow up since 4th grade when Stacey joined our family from Jamaica. My sister Michelle, Stacey and I spent tonight remembering fun and silly times with all their friends and we all had different memories....but the one thing we all remember is Stephanie's smile and good heart. Stacey reminded us how Stephanie always told Baby Peter she was his girlfriend and to "break up" with Mia...who Peter just loved. She was always wonderful with Peter, Sara and Jordan....and that is priceless....
The world is a better place because of giving people like Stephanie...who is an example of what we should all be like. Thank you for raising such a wonderful and caring person and sharing her with the world. She will always hold a special place in our hearts and the hearts of many.
Much Love, Caron

Dear Lin & Family,
My heart breaks for all of you - I didn't know Stephanie but she has touched so many that didn't know her. In her short life she did more and loved more than most people do in a lifetime. Please know that the Lord Jesus Christ will return and gather us together with him "and so shall we ever be with the Lord." In God's perfect plan you will absolutely be united with Stephanie.
With my heart and prayers for you all,
Celeste

Lin, Lenny and the boys -
I did not know Stephanie that well, she had been to my house a couple times with Kyle to see Frankie.
I do know though that she was a great person. Everyone you talk to has something to say about how she made a difference in their life. Sherrill tells me Kyle would not have graduated if it wasn't for her. She is a true heroine, dying as she was helping others.
I too lost a child. He, however was an infant, only a month old. I know the feeling of having a piece of you taken way to soon. I cannot even begin to imagine though your pain while you waited for news this past month.
Thank You for raising such a wonderful daughter.
God Bless.
Lee
